The Village Lodge & Flashpackers with a 4 star grading, is situated in the centre of the quaint Storms River Village on the edge of the Tsitsikamma Forest, with its gate opening out on to the original old Cape Road. This is a unique concept for the informal traveller with delightful private rooms, self catering unit and upmarket group accommodation; all rooms are ensuite. Families, groups, informal travellers and hikers are welcome. The Lodge is first choice for Otter Trail Hikers both pre and post trail (see hikers section, left menu)
The Guest Lounge has comfortable couches and chairs, fireplace and Satellite TV. The Farmhouse-style kitchen is communal to all residents and is fully equipped. Outside is the covered, candle-lit BBQ area (Lapa) with a large fireplace, own fully equipped cooking and scullery area, comfortable couches and chairs, and a popular pool table. The Lapa is very popular with guests.

At Storms River Mouth, walk to the suspension bridge and / or to the lookout deck, scramble along the rocky Coastline towards The Waterfall, kayaking or kloofing in the sea, swimming at the beach below the restaurant or return to the Village and just “chill out” in the beautiful gardens of the Lodge.
